Country Side Tours in Hungary

Are you ready to discover Hungary?

If so, then it is plentiful opportunities  for it! Hungary has so many faces and beauties which are worthy to be seen. Most tourist attractions in the country side are located along the Danube Bend, Lake Balaton, the Northern Mountains (Eger) and in the Puszta (Great Hungarian Plain).

Excursion to Szentendre (4 hours)

This little Danube city with Mediterranian atmosphere is the first city of the Danube Bend Region, only 20 km North from Budapest. In the 17th and 18th century it gave refuge to the Serbs and Macedons who fled the Turks from the Balcan and - following the Danube river upwards - settled down in this North Hungarian region for good. They determined the character of the city by building several orthodox churches and Mediterranian stile houses. Today it’s still the centre of the Serbe-Ortodox religion. The city’s disordered streets of Mediterranien aspects are full with souvenir shops, artists’ shops, galleries, museums, cafés and confiseries.  see prices

North from the capital, the Danube Band stretches on a length of 65 km. Its name derives from the curve drawn by the Danube flowing from West, changes direction to South at the city of Esztergom, carving its way between the mountains of Pilis and Börzsöny. It is rich in natural beauties, history, and monuments. The Danube Band comprises 3 famous cities: Szentendre, Visegrád and Esztergom.
