The magestic Andrassy Avenue and the Heroes Square (2,5 houres)
This famous avenue of the capital is part of the World Heritage, and often surnamed as "Budapest’s Champs-Elysées" It is dominated by wonderful renaissance buildings all along including the world’s leading designers' shops such as Gucci, Giorgio Armani and Louis Vuitton. It connects the city centre with the largest park of Budapest, the City Park. The first underground of the European Continent is running just under the road surface, the entire length of which is 2,3 km/1,4 miles. During this tour you will see the buildings of the Postal Museum, the Hungarian State Opera, the Nagymező Street (the Hungarian Broadway, the Octogn, the House of Terror and the Franz Liszt Memorial Museum, the former Music Academy of Budapest. For 3 stations we will continue our tour with the old underground and arrive to the Heroes (Millenium) Square that, with its famous monuments, represents the entire history of Hungary.
